Family-Teacher Conferences (Virtual)

Dear BUGS Families,

On Friday, March 12, we will be hosting our Family-Teacher Conferences for  Semester 2. Families will have the opportunity to meet virtually with teachers to gain an understanding of your student’s academic progress. Families should have received Semester 1 progress reports. Please use it as a guide to prioritizing subjects that you’d like to most urgently address. You can also reference TeachEase for your student’s most up-to-date grades. We look forward to connecting with you!

Based on feedback from families and staff, we have selected  a new scheduling platform, called SchoolBookings. This platform is easy to use and helps to avoid scheduling conflicts across content areas, and for families who have more than 1 student at BUGS. To help with the scheduling process, I have included brief how-to-videos in English and Spanish below to guide you through the new interface of selecting your conference schedule.

Important Information about Family-Teacher Conferences

  • Each family is limited to 4 appointments (we recommend you prioritize subject areas in which your student is struggling)

  • Conference sign-ups are on a first-come, first-served basis.

  • Conferences are a maximum of 8 minutes.

  • Appointments are available from 9am to 7pm on March 12 (classes are not in session)

  • Students are strongly encouraged to attend, but their attendance is not mandatory
