BUGS students are asking friends and families to donate goods or funds over the next two weeks to help with their food insecurity Field Study project on December 17. Our students are partnering with Mixteca (a local organization that supports families in Sunset Park) to collect cooking and household items for community members and raise money to order fresh produce. A list of baking items and household goods can be found in this email. In addition, we have a goal of raising  $500 for fresh produce. Just $10 can buy a family a bundle of fruits and vegetables. Donations can be made to the PTA using Zelle (BUGSpta@gmail.com) or PayPal. Please indicate the donation is for Mixteca in the notes.
